Detailed design consideration was given to the incorporation of simple, passive, cost-effective and robust sustainable elements avoiding high-maintenance or high-technology solutions to achieve a BER A rating. Air-Tightness, external envelope detailing, highly efficient services and a passive ventillation system are the key sustainable design elements incorporated. Particular care was given to the detailed spec. & design of each specific material and junction to maintain continuity of thermal performance and guarantee air-tightness both at design and construction stages.
