Styne House

Styne House in Hatch Street Dublin 2 was designed and project managed by Coli O’Donoghue as a partner in Gilroy McMahon. This was a urban transformation of the former A.C.C. bank building which had been constructed in the mid 1970’s. The building was extended onto Hatch Street and overlooking the Ivy Gardens at a cost of 9.5 million.

The building has received numerous architectural awards including the Architectural Association Award and the Opus Design Award shortly after it was completed in 1999. A customised glazing system was developed for this project to achieve the desired aesthetic. To keep costs down the building was designed around the existing structure.
